Long Form Prose

Are you struggling with writing a novel or aspiring to write one? Many people who want to write a novel become overwhelmed with the magnitude of a book-length project. In this workshop, you will learn how to craft a novel and how to get past hurdles to complete your project.  You will learn how to turn an idea for a story into a book-length project filled with captivating characters, plot twists, a riveting setting, and tight prose. You will also learn techniques for staying organized and the art of revision. Each week, participants will draft and revise sections of their novel and receive editorial feedback from  the instructor. Participants will also have the opportunity to do readings of their work in class.
